is a unique trademarked and patented Shoulder Collar™ with a patented Vel-Lock™ Closure The original ChokeFree™ does not
put pressure on the pet's trachea or windpipe. There are similar step-in designs that claim to be non-choking/choke-free
but they may still place pressure on the pet's windpipe and cause choking and gagging. The center portion of our soft
smooth one-piece patented ChokeFree™ design touches the pet in-between the
pet's front legs, whereas the other Step-In harnesses touch the pet's forechest area rather than in between the pet's front

ChokeFree ™ is a new petanomic™*

ChokeFree ™ is a stylish, Step-N-Wrap designed, easy to wear, pet-friendly alternative to conventional neck
collars and harnesses that are difficult to install and can cause pain.
The
simple installation of the leather ChokeFree ™ shoulder collar involves placing the pet’s
feet and legs through the leg openings and snuggly wrapping the ends around the shoulders and placing the ring through the
Vel- Lock Closure ™.
Some
pets that have not worn a harness previously may need to get used to the ChokeFree ™ shoulder collar . Initially, place the ChokeFree ™ on
the pet and remove after a few minutes. Then, gradually increase the wearing time until the pet is comfortable
with the shoulder collar.

The Choke Free TM design is suitable for almost all pets including dogs, cats, rabbits,
ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, iguanas, etc. The Choke Free TM design results in a better non-choking
pet collar or non-choking pet harness. The Choke Free TM Shoulder Collar pet restraint
combines the convenience of a strap like collar with features similar to a harness that surrounds the pet's shoulders.
The Shoulder Collar utilizes a simplistic circular band to encompass an animal's legs and shoulders.
The band encircles the area behind an animal's front legs and incorporates a ring for attachment to a leash. The
shoulder collar eliminates the need to encircle an animal's neck or forechest in order to restrain the pet while still providing
the necessary control and restraint. The secure hook and loop closure is uncomplicated and is easy to install and remove.
Many animals have trouble breathing when they pull against a restraint leash and they experience choking and
wheezing. Unfortunately, many times animal owners do not realize that their pet's collars or harnesses are applying

of ChokeFree TM is responsible to insure that the Shoulder Collar appropriately fits the pet being restrained. In the event the pet can tuck its head and back-out
or the owner is able to pull the ChokeFree TM over the pet's head, the Choke-Free TM is too large and must be replaced with a smaller size.

Even when pets that are restrained with ChokeFree(TM) suddenly pull very hard against the lead, they do not experience
pressure against their airways. This video showcases three dogs on a walk when they meet up with two other dogs.
All five of the dogs are restrained with ChokeFree(TM) and even though they are all pulling extremely hard against their restraints,
none of them are choking, gagging or coughing. They are barking and whimpering, but not choking or coughing. Pets
restrained with ChokeFree(TM) are generally not pulling or lunging forward, but if they should, they will not choke or cough.
Even though they are not pulling, many pets with collapsing tracheas can experience choking and gagging due to the pressure
on their airways.
ChokeFree(TM) is not to be used for tie out or when the pet is left alone or unattended.
Pets that chew may chew through ChokeFree(TM) and should not be left unattended. Putting a Pet Tee Shirt
on over ChokeFree may discourage chewing until the pet breaks the habit and no longer wants to chew.
